View From The Peg

The latest view from the peg is when I visited Heskin Old Hall Farm 14th January 2017

It was a bright start but also a cold day with only 4 degrees on the thermometer

It got quite breezy in the afternoon and I ended up having to put my brolley behind me to shield me from the cold

Bait for the day was pinky and it took a while for my first bite but I had quite a good session with careful feeding .Heskin is a place that always delivers when it's cold if you are after silver fish

The peg is on the opposite bank to where you enter the pool and has a small amount of room behind,fishing the pole at 10metres is comfortable,any more and you would have to break the pole down due to the wire fence behind the peg
